SOLAR SYSTEMS FOR SCHOOLS & CHARITABLE INSTITUTIONS IN JORDAN

Starkmacher Impact is working in Jordan with Caritas Jordan and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH in the Project Development Program for the socio-ecological transformation of the third sector in Jordan via PV systems. 

Today we had an important meeting with Hamzeh Yakhoul, CEM® from GIZ in Jordan, who explained to us the technical background of solar systems, especially in Jordan. His work will help us to design tailor-made offers for our customers, such as schools or social centers. 

With the Jordanian Caritas Director Wael Suleman and his staff, we discussed a lean implementation structure for our social energy projects, especially in rural areas, and how the savings can also benefit the poor and needy students. 

We are entering into discussions with other stakeholders with confidence.

The Project Development Program (PDP) assists German companies which are seeking to enter emerging and developing countries. The markets there are dynamic and very promising but they also present companies with new challenges, such as political instability, difficult access to finance or a shortage of skilled professionals.
