CONSTRUCTION OF 20 PV PLANTS IN THE GINETTA CITY DISTRICT IN BRAZIL COMPLETED
On our 2019 trip to Brazil, we as #StarkmacherImpact visited the Ginetta neighborhood in the city of Vargem Grande Paulista - SP. We were able to discuss initial ideas about #solarification with decision-makers to modernize this settlement through renewable energy and help the residents with the socio-ecological transformation.
We have not let the pandemic stop us from continuing to work on this dream and have built up a network that is working together to realize it. In 2021, experts were commissioned with the detailed planning and in 2022 we received the go-ahead from an investor.
At the beginning of 2023, we were able to admire the following video showing the construction of the 24 solar installations in the district.
Thanks to the local community for the pioneering work, thanks to the engineering firm for the implementation, thanks to all the supporters and #ImpactInvestors who made it financially possible. And now we are delighted that the energy savings are also promoting a social impact.
